We aren't talking about the little basket racked creatures that you see on the deer leases you trudge to every year. We are talking about monstrous, big-bodied, fire-breathing TROPHY WHITETAILS! With a scientific deer breeders permit in place, Coyote Crossing Ranch has been able to introduce incredible 200 + class genetics to supplement the 140-150+ class native buck population. The buck-doe ratio is estimated at 1.5 bucks to 1 doe. Lodge

The Lodge at Coyote Crossing Ranch features 11,000 sq. ft. of Hill-Country Style accommodations built to provide you and your clients with first-class comfort and style after a day of trophy hunting. The Lodge is expertly decorated and is completely furnished with high quality lodge-style furniture and appointments which are all included in the sales price.

The Grand Room features a massive Austin Stone open fireplace with two big-screen HDTVs. From the entrance of the cedar-beam and stone-arched Grand Hall which connects the east and west wings of the Lodge, a full-service bar welcomes the weary traveler or hunter. A spacious dining room, which is backed by a full state-of-the-art commercial grade kitchen, adjoins the Grand Room and comfortably seats up to 24 guests. All of the dining tables and chairs are included in sales price.
Eight spacious guest rooms at Coyote Crossing Ranch display “Rustic Elegance” at its finest and most luxurious. Each room has its own private bath and shower, as well as two queen-sized beds with Select Comfort Sleep Number Mattresses. If you’ve ever slept on a Sleep Number bed, you know what comfort is. One of the guestrooms is completely handicap/wheel-chair accessible, including the bathroom and shower.

A screened-in porch in each guest wing provides a great spot to smoke a cigar and sip your favorite brandy, or you can head down to the fire pit for some “absolutely true” hunting stories.

Cantina

After an exciting day of trophy hunting and great food, come enjoy the Wild Coyote Cantina. You can play cards, shuffle board, shoot pool, enjoy your favorite tunes on the juke-box, or just relax in front of the big-screen TV in the 1,500 square foot “Texas Style” game room. The Cantina is where the cigars come out and the spirits are poured. Plus, the Wild Coyote Cantina is just a 9 iron away from the Lodge, so you won’t keep clients awake who are getting up early to hunt a “muy-grande.”

Deer Breeder Pens

There are five deer breeder pens under the “Scientific Breeders License” to continue enhancing the genetics on Coyote Crossing Ranch.

Dog Kennels

Eighteen quality, covered bird-dog kennels are available for you and your clients’ finest bird dogs.

Sporting Clay Range

At Coyote Crossing Ranch, the sporting clay range has 10 different stations which meander alongside the Middle Sulphur River. The range is located away from the hunting area so it won’t interfere with your trophy-hunting experience. A variety of shooting presentations are offered such as: Fur & Feathers, Flushing Covey and Lonesome Dove, to name a few. The sporting clay range is great for warm-up practice or just killing time between hunts.

Terrain

Rolling terrain to the hardwood bottom land of the Middle Sulphur River provides an incredible wildlife habitat. Coyote Crossing Ranch features roughly 60% improved pastures and food plots and 40% hardwoods.

Water

Coyote Crossing Ranch has numerous water sources. The Lodge and facilities have rural water supplied by a municipal utility water district (MUD). A 2 ½ acre lake is located behind the Lodge and provides ample fishing opportunities for Largemouth Bass and Catfish. The Middle Sulphur River and several small tanks provide ample watering holes for the wildlife.

Staff
