Terrain

With county road frontage on its southern boundary, the Rockin’ T Ranch neighbors two much larger ranches. This property offers in excess of 70% hardwood and mixed timber cover with terrain that is relatively flat with roll created by multiple creek beds and draws. Heavy cover provides a safe and productive haven for wildlife production, and carefully placed ATV paths provide access to blinds throughout the ranch.

Wildlife and Water

Rockin’ T Ranch is home to high-quality whitetail genetics. Love County, Oklahoma, is well respected for its trophy whitetail populations, and the Rockin’ T Ranch is no exception. Game management has been the top priority since 2006 with protein, forage, and grain supplementation. Very few bucks have been harvested, and the ranch has not been leased. In addition, spring Rio Grande gobblers and wild hogs round out the hunting opportunities. Two tributaries of the Walnut Bayou traverse the property providing a consistent source of water for the abundant wildlife. Whether a bow hunter or gun hunter, this ranch is an oasis to the wildlife enthusiast!

Improvements

Rockin’ T Ranch features all of the necessary basic improvements – water well with submersible pump, electricity, and a septic system. In addition, approximately 1/3 of the ranch is high-fenced with quality LE fencing. Both Walnut Bayou tributaries that traverse the ranch are managed with the use of LE swing gates. Protein feeders and food plots are interspersed throughout the ranch.
