Water

The ranch has a rural water line that runs up to the old homestead, and it services the cattle pens, and continues across the southwestern section of the property to a livestock trough. There is a solar well on the North end of the property supplying water for livestock as well. There are 7 earthen stock tanks ranging in size. A spring on the Northeast section is a constant source of water, and the creeks will hold water seasonally, plus the river on the Northeast corner of the property.

Wildlife

It is rare to find property available today that provides good Bobwhite quail hunting opportunities, this property has birds this year, and following the spring rains hopefully the hatches will be good. This ranch provides an awesome opportunity for the spot and stalk hunter, the canyons and coulees allow you to get up high and spot your quarry and then plan a route to get within range of your target. Terrain

The elevation on the North end along the river is about 1660 feet, and some of the peaks of the hills are around 1830 feet. The canyons and coulees provide many nooks and crannies throughout the property, there is a lot of roll to the landscape, so there are not too many large flat areas, but most of the property is easily traversed. This habitat makes for some beautiful vistas.

Improvements

The ranch has a rural water supply on the Southwest supplying the od homestead and livestock water. There is also an electric line that serviced the homestead.
