About Steve Faber
Steve was born and raised in Tyler, TX in the heart of of the Pineywoods region of East Texas. After graduating John Tyler H.S. in 1968, Steve attended college at Tyler Jr. College and Texas A&M before graduating from Sam Houston State in 1972 with a BA in Agricultural Education. After serving in the US Air Force and the US Army, Steve taught Agriculture for one year at Chapel Hill High School and another four years at Tyler Jr. College. Shortly thereafter, he moved his young family to Colorado, where he attained his Real Estate Agent license in 1978, eventually becoming a Broker in 1996. Steve spent most of 34 years in southern Colorado, buying, developing and selling mountain ranches with several partners. Currently, Steve is a licensed Broker in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas and serves as a Manager/Mentor/Trainer for No Fences Land Company.
Steve currently resides near Weatherford, Texas with his wife of 53 years, Suzanne. They have three grown children(a stay at home mom, an international school teacher and an architect), an adopted son(a chief of the Jicarilla Apache tribe in Dulce, NM), two son-in-laws, a daughter-in-law and nine grandchildren. Steve and his wife attend Weatherford Presbyterian Church(PCA). Steve leads a men’s Bible study called ”Ministry in the Marketplace” at the No Fences office in Bedford every Monday morning from 7:00-8:00am. If you’re ever in the neighborhood on a Monday morning, come join us for some good fellowship and challenging time of study.
